This year, we’ve made some big strides in improving the L2L Platform. From easier data analysis to improved communication tools, we’ve implemented key upgrades to keep your operations moving.
Let’s take a look!
Put your manufacturing data to work with L2L Analytics
Your plant generates troves of data every minute. L2L Analytics helps your teams cut through the noise and make faster, more informed decisions that drive your business forward.
Explore, analyze, and visualize operational data from different sites through custom or pre-built dashboards:
- OEE Analysis for monitoring production efficiency
- Downtime Analysis for identifying root causes of downtime
- Dispatch Type Analysis for monitoring Dispatches across sites and types
- …And many more.
You can also create your own dashboard with our intuitive drag-and-drop feature.
Bonus tip: If you have a BI tool, you can bulk transfer daily L2L data in a standardized format you can use in your data visualization tool of choice.

Never miss a Dispatch: Microsoft Teams integration
It’s time to kiss missed notifications goodbye. Now, you can integrate L2L Dispatch with Microsoft Teams—a huge upgrade for Teams users.
With this integration, frontline employees receive timely updates on:
- Maintenance team deployment and progress on fixes
- Potential production bottlenecks
- Task completion across departments
Receiving critical alerts through Teams improves shop floor communication and accelerates problem-solving. Plus, this upgrade is 100% free and is easy to set up at your site!

Other L2L product updates: Sub-Assets, Skills Matrix, Dispatch enhancements, and more
We’ve been hard at work elevating user experience across the L2L platform. Here are a handful of extra enhancements we’ve made in the first quarter of 2025.
Sub-Assets
If you deal with highly complex mechanical setups at your site, you can now designate parent machines and sub-assets within L2L.
Now, you can create Dispatches specifically for tasks related to sub-assets. This improves troubleshooting, provides deeper insights into machine performance, and helps plants reduce downtime.
This enhancement is free for L2L customers. See the setup process in this article.
SwipeGuide Skills Matrix navigation
If you’re a SwipeGuide Skills Matrix user, we have great news for you!
The new Skills Matrix Quick Access feature allows managers to quickly navigate to a skill profile and edit skills for their team—without sorting through multiple screens.
Scheduler
We’ve updated the Scheduler Module to include a new occurrence interval type: launch by shift.
Now, you can set scheduled events to launch by shift. This helps you streamline and better organize your event management system.
New Dispatch type settings
L2L Dispatch now has two additional types available in Settings:
Exclude planned downtime from Operational Availability: You can now prevent planned downtime events from factoring into your Availability calculation.
Exclude planned downtime from Labor Efficiency (Standard Time per Unit): You can now exclude time from meetings, training, and other planned downtime events from LMPU and Labor Efficiency calculations. More details here.
Edit Dispatch notes
One of our most asked-for improvements—you can now edit notes directly in a Dispatch. This enhancement ensures that all shop floor communication is accurate and up-to-date.
New notification types
Now, you can use two new notification types in L2L Dispatch:
- Reason code notifications: Receive notifications based on reason codes.
- Work order notifications: Instantly alert Dispatch creators when their work orders are launched, denied, or completed.
Streamlined Dispatch creation
It’s easier than ever to create a Dispatch. Enable work orders and enable Kaizen events from the New Dispatch button.
